Young Urban Gardeners (Y.U.G.) Program
The Young Urban Gardeners (Y.U.G.s) cultivate the Sacred Earth Community Garden through our after-school program running from March to May, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm-8pm. In our
air-conditioned classroom the Y.U.G.s learn valuable social skills and how to channel their energy positively through Tia Chi and meditation classes. They also discover how to cook the produce they grow, exploring new recipes and ingredients. Our small fitness classroom provides space for a workout at the end of each day, rounding out a holistic learning experience.
