Sacred Earth Community Garden provides educational stipends to youth in the West End—compensating their time, labor, and learning.
We are Earth Giving Life to Earth. Their voices are roots of power.
“Come get in the dirt with us.”
About UsIn the heart of West Louisville's most underserved neighborhood, we cultivate more than just produce. Our 501(c)3 community garden is a transformative space, where at-risk youth aged 16-24 earn a living wage while nurturing both the land and their own potential as they learn the symbiotic relationships to nature. Through hands-on work, we provide fresh, healthy food for a community facing food insecurity, and offer year-round education in sustainable gardening, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
